This case study details a comprehensive architectural overhaul of the Cloudflare Zero Trust platform. By replacing a fragmented, product-centric navigation with a human-centered, object-oriented framework, the project resolved significant "experiential debt" and aligned the system with user mental models.

• The Strategy: Leveraged the ORCA (OOUX) methodology to restructure the environment into intuitive functional categories: Objects, Insights, and Operations.

• User Impact: Eliminated onboarding friction in the "Zero to Many" journey and transformed invisible concepts into tangible, manageable objects like the App Library.

• Operational Efficiency: Standardized interaction patterns across the platform, significantly increasing SDLC velocity for design and engineering teams.

• AI Integration: The new structural integrity served as a foundation for Cloudy, an in-system AI agent that utilizes the system’s object-oriented architecture to assist users with discovery and observability.

This work transitioned a complex enterprise ecosystem into a scalable, high-performance solution space designed for both human clarity and AI-driven automation.
